DGT Sassy Bags was founded in Michigan, by Dawn Gibson-Thigpen.

I have always had a love and appreciation for style and fashion. I remember as a child going to different fashion events with my mother; who has been a fashion designer for over 40 years. One day while bargain shopping with a friend I came up with the idea of posting different bags on eBay. Once I put that idea into place and turned a profit fairly quickly, the idea expanded into actually selling bags to close friends and family. Over time and with a close friend who pushed me all the way, I knew that I wanted to do bigger things than eBay and selling to friends and family...that's when DGT Sassy Bags was launched..which I consider to be my baby....
